Residential

Single family house

A residential project for low energy house. The design is a result of thorough cooperation with our clients who already had with almost final vision of their future home.

Our task was mainly focused on binding these elements of envisoned fragments into a functional whole with proper technical realisation. The floor plan is open with lots of light and bright surfaces oriented towards green outskirts of Savinian hills.

House II

Since the regulatory conditions for the designated area are very strict, this project is all about maximizing the available space. The house is located on a solitary spot on the outskirts of Celje with some nice views over castle, hills and forrests. This is where a young couple  finds their new home.

Renovation project

A renovation project for a client who acquired a used property. The house was designated for a thorough refurbishment. We made a proposition of inner arrangements upon client's desires. The house is designed as living space and as a business office at the same time. It also features a so called men's room and other special premises.

Attic renovation

Renovation of an uninhabited attic of a single family house into a bright appartment for the young. In the renovation process we preserved the original wood construction that found it's place in minimalistic combination with white surfaces.

The floor plan was extended by adding extra mezzanine below the relatively high roof ridge for the accomodation of three separated smaller individual bed niches.

Furnishing

Wooden interior design of a single family house. Our client's desire was bespoke furnished living room that needed to be compatible with the concept of existing space. As a solution we proposed to combine wooden lamels as a vertical interpretation of existing horizontal wooden beams from the roof construction. The wave-like form of the lamels introduces a note of variety and dynamics into a long ortogonal volume on one hand and draws a subtle line between the different function of spaces on the other.

Furniture design

Wooden club table design came to realisation by combining a wooden frame into a cristalline-like structure. The main challenge of the project was to ensure firm joining surfaces of individual elements to harness the torque as a result of vertical weight load from a glass plate.
